About House of SR

Where Tradition Meets Timeless Elegance

A personal note from the Founder

The House of SR is my heartfelt tribute to the women who carry grace like strength and tradition like power. My belief is that heritage is not preserved in museums — it lives in the choices we wear.

Every saree you find here is chosen with intention — to honour our roots while celebrating your journey. I built this house to honour craftsmanship and the women who define legacy in their own way.

With pride, purpose & grace

About The House of SR

The House of SR was not created as a business. It was born from a lifelong reverence for silk.

Growing up, I watched sarees mark every sacred moment — weddings, festivals, milestones, quiet prayers. A pure pattu saree was never just attire; it was dignity woven into fabric, strength draped in gold, legacy folded carefully into cupboards to be passed on.

Over time, I realised something profound — while trends evolve, heritage endures.

The House of SR was founded with a single intention: to preserve the sanctity of authentic silk while curating pieces worthy of becoming tomorrow’s heirlooms. Each saree is thoughtfully selected from master weavers across India — from the imperial looms of Kanchipuram to the intricate artistry of Banaras — ensuring purity, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.

I believe a woman does not merely wear silk — she embodies it.

Grace in her presence.
Authority in her silence.
Legacy in her choices.

This house stands for:

  • Authentic weaves, uncompromised
  • Craft passed down through generations
  • Luxury rooted in tradition

The House of SR is my tribute to women who lead with quiet power — who honour their roots while building their own empires.

Today you wear it.
Tomorrow it is inherited.

This is more than silk. This is legacy — woven.
